Response Quest

For editors

Write a quest

A quest is data, not code: a graph of nodes, choices, effects and citation keys. Paste one below and it is checked against the same rules the build enforces — including that every citation resolves to an entry in the book’s own reference list, which is what stops the game from contradicting the book.

The rules a quest has to pass: exactly one correct choice per turn; every node reachable from the start; every branch ends; at least one ending; every role you list holds at least one turn; a correct answer is never also marked late; and a perfect run scores well above a wrong one. The format is documented in docs/AUTHORING.md.

68 references are available to cite. A citation number means the same thing here as on the page of the book it came from.

Passes A new quest — 4 nodes, 2 decisions, best run 92%, worst run 31%.

A published quest is read by every player, so the content rules in section 7 of the game plan apply to it: no outcome may invent a fact the book does not contain, characters and places are fictional, real DS division names appear only as the places a warning names, and the open clinical questions stay out of scored turns.
